HOW DO I....
Obtain A Repeat Prescription?
Some of you will be taking regular medicines. Repeat prescriptions may be requested without seeing a doctor.
Please give us:
24 hours' notice for a chemist's prescription
Or
48 hours' notice for a dispensed prescription
*PLEASE NOTE no orders will be taken by telephone except in an emergency.
Return your re-order slip which is attached to all dispensed prescriptions by hand or post to the surgery.
You can also order your repeat prescriptions on line via 'Emis Access' www.emisaccess.co.uk
Or by fax to: Brunston: 01594 810971
Lydbrook: 01594 860987
We are allowed to dispense to you if you live more than 1 mile from a chemist (ie, you can collect your prescriptions from the surgery).
If you live less than a mile away from a chemist - Lloyds and Day Lewis Chemists of Coleford call to collect prescriptions each day.
If you would like this service, please indicate when ordering. We recommend regular supervision; ask if you have not seen a doctor recently.
